Curriculum Vitae

Since childhood, I have had a close relationship with nature which, over time, led me to study Biology at the University of Girona (UdG). Throughout my Bachelor, I gradually focused on topics related to ecology, behavior and evolution. Once I completed it, I had the opportunity to work in Seychelles and Costa Rica on research and conservation programs, which further solidified my interest in behavioral ecology.

Later on, I enrolled in a Master's program in Biodiversity and Conservation in Tropical Areas at the Menéndez Pelayo International University (UIMP) in collaboration with the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC). My master's thesis focused on the study of postnatal dispersal in the spotless starling (Sturnus unicolor), evaluating how the areas frequented by floaters the previous year before acquiring a nest related to their subsequent nesting selection.

I am currently pursuing my PhD on the social networks of the spotless starlings. The main objective is to characterize the social structure of this highly gregarious bird species and evaluate the implications of its associations and position within the social network for various aspects of its ecology.
