My main scientific interests lie in Bird Ecology and Migration. I gained a B.Sc. in Biological sciences and a M.Sc. in Biodiversity and Evolution at the University of Palermo, Italy. I carried out my Master’s thesis project on the migration of Common swift (Apus apus) in collaboration with the Animal movement research group at Lund University, Sweden. Since then I have been involved in several bird ringing and monitoring campaigns
